• Leaving the Smith Street test centre, you immediately face the tight right turn onto Milgate Street followed quickly by navigating the narrow residential streets near St. Marie's Catholic Primary School, where parked cars frequently restrict the road to a single lane and require precise positioning.
• Approaching the junction from Bolton Road onto outbound stretches toward Elton requires careful observation of changing speed limits and managing visibility issues caused by mature roadside trees and older Victorian terraced housing tight to the pavement.
