DVSA ORDIT Grade A Tuition In Bolton & Bury

Since 2012, Harwood Driving School has focused on a single promise: provide local learners with DVSA-registered instructors and structured modern coaching.

Harwood Driving School is an independent driving school based in Harwood, Bolton (BL2), established in 2012 by Dan Ison. Lessons are door-to-door across Bolton and Bury. Instructor training takes place at our ORDIT Instructor Training Centre, 47 Links Road, Bolton BL2 4EY, by appointment.

Founder Dan Ison holds a DVSA ORDIT Grade A score (51/51), a DVSA Cardington Special Grade A, RoSPA Gold Tutor status, and IAM Advanced Driver qualification. Every instructor is Enhanced DBS checked and mentored to the same instructional standard.

Our curriculum is built around the public roads and junctions around the Bolton (Weston Street) test centre and Bury test centre. From dual-carriageway merges on the A666 to multi-lane roundabouts, we practise the class of roads examiners use — not an unpublished route sheet.
